Disappearing World
Palat was fighting but the blows didn’t damage Sam. It seemed that the other versions of herself Palat was projecting couldn’t hit hard. Sam wouldn't attack her. He just had to dodge every attack. Palat didn’t seem to want to hurt Sam, but he couldn't keep it up much longer. He grabbed his sword and….. dropped it. When he picked it back up, Palat stopped and opened the door. She hugged Sam, and said “okay you are strong enough
to keep trying and survive on your own.” Sam thanked her and walked through the door.
He saw a ghost just lying on the floor. The Ghost had a white body, a purple top hat and a scarf. “Excuse me’’ said Sam.
The Ghost got up. “What’’ he said. He had an angry tone.
“I was wondering if you could get out of my way” said Sam.
“And I was wondering if you could go away’.’
“I want to but...’’ Sam was interrupted.
“You want to fight me?’’ is what the Ghost said.
“Well no but...’’ Sam said
“I will Get out of your way if you can defeat me’’.
Chapter 7
Sam was ready to dodge every attack But something slowed him down. He looked Down at his soul. It was white!
“Hahaha, now I can catch you.’’
Spears of ice rose up from the ground. It was a lot more difficult to dodge them, Sam couldn’t move very fast and the Ghost’s magic was making him feel sad. Sam was looking for an easy way out and then he remembered he had the ability to act. Maybe he could use it as a distraction.
“Hey what's Shakin bacon?’’
“Really’’ the ghost said “you expect that to work on me’’.
“Well that didn't work’’ said Sam “let's try cheer’’.
He yelled, “you can do it, I believe in you!”
“Who are you cheering on again?’’ said the ghost.
More ice came and Sam kept getting hit. The Ghost commented, “I just realised
I could have run away in this fight but you wouldn't be happy. You just love the chance to make a new friend, so yeah.’’
Sam kept on cheering. Finally after a long fight the ghost was exhausted. However, Sam spared him. As Sam Was walking by, the ghost got up and followed Sam.
“Excuse me,” said Sam, “are you just going to keep following me?”
“Yep’’ Said the ghost. “We are friends now and can you tell this narrator to stop calling me ‘the ghost.’ I have a name, it's Chad.”
Hi Mace. Thank you for sharing the next exciting chapters of your book. I really liked your use of humour in the last chapter. The last line made me laugh out loud! Teacher Tip: When you use voice typing, change the first letter from a capital to a lower case before you carry on writing. That way you will remember where they all are. I have popped in and helped you edit some of these. I am looking forward to reading the ending.
